Lithuanian division of an international data and technology company with a workforce of over 200 employees in Lithuania and a global presence in 30+ countries.

 

Challenge

In 2021 the company urgently needed to hire about 40 programmers within a few months, a challenging goal given the highly competitive market where candidates are not actively seeking new job opportunities.

Our input:

  • Recruitment campaign management: We oversaw the entire recruitment campaign process, from creating creative concepts to preparing campaign materials and implementation.

Results:

  • New industry benchmark: We leveraged the Tinder platform to recruit IT professionals, setting a new industry benchmark. It was recognised as one of the year’s top recruitment campaigns at major HR conferences, in the media, and was cited as a great example by experts in employer branding.
  • Hired 50 experienced IT professionals within a remarkably short timeframe.
  • 10x saved budget: Instead of the expected costs that traditional recruitment methods would have required for hiring this number of candidates, the company spent 10x less on the campaign, including agency’s and third-party costs.
  • Positive feedback: The campaign garnered positive feedback from candidates and received unanimous support for the idea from current employees.
  • Reinforcing desired employer brand associations: By employing a bold and striking communication campaign, the company has also successfully dismantled the myth of being a corporate organization externally, a perception that was influenced by the organization’s international presence.
